Carrie Barton
Preservation Specialist/Project Manager
Ms. Barton serves as a preservation specialist and project manager for the Research and Preservation Planning Division. Her work at EHT Traceries involves consultation services for state and federal historic rehabilitation tax credits, historic preservation planning, local and federal design review, NHPA Section 106 and Section 110 compliance, and Cultural Resources Management. She also provides research and documentation services for historic properties and National Register nominations. Ms. Barton earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Civil Engineering and a minor in Art History from Vanderbilt University and a Master of Arts degree in Historic Preservation Planning from Cornell University.
Andrea F. Schoenfeld
Historian
Ms. Schoenfeld specializes in researching the history of individual buildings and neighborhoods. Her research provides the basis for evaluating and rehabilitating historic buildings and developing the historic context for landmark and National Register nominations. She received her Master of Arts in American studies/historic preservation from George Washington University and her Bachelor of Arts from Radcliffe College. She is vice president of the Cosmos Club Historic Preservation Foundation, which is dedicated to the preservation of the Townsend Mansion in Washington, DC, and its surrounding historic area.
Anna Stillner Chiriboga
Architectural Historian/Project Manager
As an architectural historian and project manager in the firm’s Research and Preservation Division since 2006, Ms. Chiriboga provides research and consultation services related to the preservation, restoration, and rehabilitation of historic buildings. Her work includes research and evaluation, building and context documentation, preparation of local and National Register nominations, design consultation, Section 106 compliance and determinations of eligibility, as well as preparation of historical reports for compliance purposes and for submission to design review boards. Ms. Chiriboga earned a Masters of Science in Historic Preservation – Building Conservation from the University of Pennsylvania and a B.A. in English Literature from Northwestern University.

Jeanne Barnes
Architectural Historian/Surveyor
Ms. Barnes, who joined EHT Traceries in January 2007, serves as an architectural historian and surveyor in the Survey and Documentation Division. She is responsible for the on-site survey of historic properties, focusing on the identification, evaluation, and documentation of individual historic buildings and survey districts. She is responsible for the research and preparation of individual landmark applications, National Register of Historic Places nomination forms, and Determinations of Eligibilities. Ms. Barnes manages several of the on-site surveys, projects that range from an individual property to neighborhoods consisting of over 1,000 resources in Maryland, Virginia, and the District of Columbia. Ms. Barnes concentrated her studies in Public History and earned a Master of Arts degree in History from the University of North Carolina Wilmington, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from James Madison University.
Maria Dayton
Architectural Historian/Surveyor
Ms. Dayton, who joined the Survey and Documentation Division of EHT Traceries in December 2007, is an architectural historian and surveyor. Her work includes the survey of historic properties, focusing on the identification, evaluation, and documentation of historic districts consisting of 800 to over 1,200 properties. She is responsible for the preparation of local landmark and National Register nominations, inventory forms, historic context reports, and determinations of eligibility, with a focus on projects in Maryland, Virginia, and the District of Columbia. She manages several of the volunteer-based survey projects, working directly with community associations in the preparation of architectural and historical survey reports. Ms. Dayton earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in American Studies and Historic Preservation from Mary Washington College and a Masters of Science degree in Historic Preservation from the University of Pennsylvania.
Paul Weishar
Architectural Historian/Surveyor
Mr. Weishar joined the Survey and Documentation Division of EHT Traceries in August 2007 an architectural historian and surveyor. His work includes the survey of historic properties, focusing on the identification, evaluation, and documentation of individual resources of architectural and historical significance, and historic districts consisting of 800 to over 1,200 properties. He is responsible for the preparation of local landmark and National Register nominations, inventory forms, historic context reports, and determinations of eligibility, with a focus on projects in Maryland, Virginia, and the District of Columbia. He manages several of the large-scale survey projects, responsible for the preparation of architectural and historical survey reports of early- to mid-twentieth-century suburbs and National Register nominations for early-nineteenth-century rural towns. Mr. Weishar earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Historic Preservation from Mary Washington College and completed all of the coursework for a Masters of Fine Arts from the Savannah College of Art and Design (degree pending).

Director of Finance and Administration
Mr. Vettovaglia is responsible for HR, financial and accounting functions at EHT Traceries. He also provides oversight of the Administrative Manager's duties. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and International Finance from American University.
