Baltimore Correctional Complex

Intent:

Under contract to Penza-Bailey Architects, and in coordination with the Maryland Historical Trust (MHT), EHT Traceries prepared Determinations of Eligibility for the Baltimore City Jail and Maryland Penitentiary, as part of Section 106 review of a proposed modernization of the complex. Traceries guided the project through the Section 106 process, held two Consulting Party Meetings prior to the execution of a Memorandum of Agreement that addressed the avoidance, minimization, and mitigation of the demolition of eligible buildings on the site.
